Open Cell Silicone Foam

INTRODUCTION
        Foamed silicone is a kind of silicone material, which has a wide range of applications. Common ones are as filling, such as mattress filling, solid doll internal filling, as sealing strip, which is used in automobile sealing strip. Waterproof potting is mainly used in automobile battery sealing, waterproof sealing and flame retardant. It has obvious advantages compared with traditional PU foaming.

        According to the bubble structure, silicone rubber foam is divided into three types: closed cell silicoen foam, open cell silicone foam and mixed cell silicone foam.



APPLICATION
        Open cell silicone foam is mainly used for making silicone foam sealing strip, silicone foam sheet, anti-seismic silicone foam board, silicone foam coil, copier transfer roller shaft sponge pipe, printer shaft sponge pipe and silicone foam insulation pipe


ADVANTAGES
        The silicone foam material with openings and foams has better shockproof cushioning, sound insulation, heat insulation, flame retardancy and explosion-proof. It is mainly used in automotive field, such as heat insulation foam tube for automobile air conditioning, automobile shock absorption, foaming silicone seal gasket for new energy vehicle battery, etc.
