Effective April 2026, China
canceled the 13% export rebate for primary polysiloxanes (e.g., 107 rubber), raising export costs by ~
1,600 RMB/ton and ending the low‑cost raw material export model. The policy forces the industry to shift from “selling raw materials” to “selling
formulations, performance, and solutions.”
Hongye Silicone has proactively adjusted its export structure, prioritizing
REACH/FDA/ANVISA‑certified finished products such as
food‑grade silicone, medical LSR, and thermal conductive compounds. High‑value products now account for
over 35% of its export volume, strengthening margins and global competitiveness.
