BEIJING, April 19, 2026 — DMC (Dimethylcyclosiloxane) is the core intermediate connecting the upstream raw materials and midstream deep-processed products of the silicone industry, and its price is the core pricing indicator of the entire silicone industry. On April 19, 2026, the domestic mainstream quotation of DMC rises slightly to 14,600–15,100 yuan/ton, an increase of 100 yuan/ton compared with the previous day, and the price difference between regions is small.
The main reason for the price increase is the tight spot supply. More monomer factories in Shandong and East China, the main DMC producing areas, have suspended spot DMC quotations, and all their production capacity is used to fulfill pre-sold orders signed in early April. These pre-sold orders are mainly long-term cooperation orders with downstream deep-processing enterprises, with a delivery cycle of 15–20 days.
At the same time, the overall operating rate of the domestic silicone monomer industry remains at around 65%. Some key monomer enterprises have announced upcoming equipment maintenance plans, which will further reduce the market supply of DMC in the short term. Downstream deep-processing enterprises have started to increase procurement volume appropriately in response to the tight supply, which further supports the upward trend of DMC prices.
