Imported Silicone Oil Prices Surge, Domestic High-End Supply

The domestic imported silicone oil market saw a sharp price increase on March 30. Major international brands reported tight spot availability and firm pricing:

Momentive: 23,000–25,000 RMB/ton
Shin-Etsu (KF-96): 25,000–27,000 RMB/ton
Dow Corning: 18,000–18,500 RMB/ton
Wacker: 18,100–18,600 RMB/ton

In contrast, mainstream domestic silicone oil was quoted at 16,000–16,200 RMB/ton. The significant price differential reflects the ongoing supply shortage of high-end imported products and the structural gap in domestic high-value silicone offerings. This trend is expected to drive further import substitution and accelerate domestic high-end product development.
