DMC Prices Firm at 14,300 RMB/ton, April Price Hike Expectati
As of March 30, 2026, the mainstream transaction price of dimethyl cyclosiloxane (DMC) held firm at 14,300 RMB/ton (tax-inclusive, delivered). Leading producers maintained strong price support, with some quoting up to 15,400 RMB/ton. The market is dominated by strong expectations of a price increase following the early April industry conference, with monomer factories widely holding a bullish stance.
Cost-side support remains robust: methanol prices surged sharply, driven by futures limit-up moves, further elevating production costs. Downstream sealant and silicone rubber manufacturers accelerated stockpiling to hedge against future price increases, with some large factories stocking nearly 1,000 tons in recent days. Most monomer plants reported full pre-sale orders for April, with several temporarily closing quotations. Analysts forecast that DMC prices are likely to stabilize and rise, with limited downside risk amid tight supply-demand balance.
